About me: Hello, I am a striped killifish. I am best kept in a group or so trio in a species tank. As with most other killifish, it is recommended that my water be filtered through peat as this is closest to natural biotopes. I can easily be kept with catfish or other Aghyosemion species (there is a risk of interbreeding here).
General information: The males of this killifish species have a blue-greenish shimmering body with red spots, which merge into stripes. In addition, the lower fin margins are colored orange to yellow. The females of this species are inconspicuously colored in a shade of gray or sometimes in a dark blue-brown, depending on the origin of the fish.
